SPARKS: Stop Putting Band-Aids on Burnout!
Start prioritising the most important tool in your therapeutic toolkit - yourself!
Are you still looking for the one 'magic' tool/strategy/modality that will eliminate your self-doubt and imposter syndrome?
Sadly, it doesn't exist! (Trust me! I've looked!).
BUT, with SPARKS, you can finally banish that imposter by learning how to spend just a little bit of time focused on the most important therapeutic tool at your disposal - YOU!
If this sounds like something you want in on - then please join me for the January Intro to SPARKS Webinar - Out with Resolutions & In with SPARKS: Reflect, Plan & Set Yourself Up for a Very Different 2025!
1) When is it?
Monday 20th January from 7pm Melb time
2) Will it be recorded?
Yep, the webinar will be recorded and the video, slides and handouts will be sent out within a couple of days of the live session. Although you risk missing out on some fairly awesome bonuses!
3) What's in it for me?
In this 90-min active CPD session, (potentially the first 90-minutes of your self-care PD towards the new core competencies coming into effect this year!) you will:
learn evidence-based self-care practices to nurture yourself and create your best possible 2025,
AS WELL ASgain tools you can also share with your self-sacrificing, perfectionistic clients. (I've found SPARKS works especially well for ND folk and those with histories of childhood neglect/developmental trauma),
explore the six SPARKS domains and how to integrate them seamlessly into your life,
discover sustainable strategies to combat burnout, and
come away with actionable insights to help integrate practical, resilient, customised self-care into your professional AND personal life WITHOUT adding to your daily to-do list.
THE SPARKS GROUP COACHING PROGRAM
The relationship between the client and their therapist has consistently been shown to be the single greatest factor in terms of predicting client outcomes (it's like the only thing the research actually agrees on!). But how can we honour that all-important therapeutic relationship if we continue ignoring the 'therapist' side of the equation?
By using SPARKS as a bit of a roadmap, we, as therapists, can start to (finally!) prioritise the most important tool in our toolkit. Ourselves. And not in a touchy feely way! SPARKS is all about simple, straightforward, neurologically and physiologically sound evidence-based work, that includes some practical tools and strategies as well (don’t worry, I wouldn’t make you go cold turkey on the strategies – they’re just not the sole focus!).
I'm truly thrilled with the results I've seen to date, but I'm still a scientist right? And I told you, this isn't touchy-feely stuff, this is evidence-based (well at least based on evidence-based ideas - like schema therapy, IFS and concepts from Animal-Assisted Therapy!).
So in addition to the individual SPARKS coaching sessions, workshops, group supervision sessions and workplace training I offer, I've also created a 6-week SPARKS Group Coaching Program.
This program was designed to give more clinicians more affordable access to the SPARKS approach and help you to become the best possible version of yourself personally and professionally by identifying and removing roadblocks that have become so familiar to us, we think they're just part of the road.
Groups are open to a maximum of 10 therapists and focus on improving your overall well-being and enhancing the therapeutic relationship from both sides of the equation.
The SPARKS Group Programs run for 6-weeks and if you're one of the awesome 10 participants you will:
have ondemand access to videos and resources on SPARKS and it's applications,
complete daily 600 Second SPARKS Spotlight Reflections or Tasks to start identifying and then breaking old habits while crafting new ones,
attend 1-hour, weekly SPARKS group coaching sessions,
receive ONE individual hour of SPARKS coaching with me (Danielle Graber),
join me in a private FB group where you can share your wins, your struggles and ask questions directly of me and the other group members throughout the length of the program.
By focusing on self-awareness, self-compassion, and practical strategies for personal and professional growth, you’ll find greater fulfilment and ease in your work, healthier boundaries in your life (with less guilt), and a renewed sense of joy and purpose.
