Our Therapy & Clinicians

  • We have a diverse team of psychologists and counsellors with different areas of expertise. If you have a preference for a particular clinician, let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. If you’re not sure, our admin team will help match you with someone based on your needs and goals.

Check out our Meet the Team page for more information on our clinicians.

  • Therapy Bytes is our short, practical skills-based program designed for clients who:
✔ Want practical tools without committing to ongoing therapy.
✔ Need support between full therapy sessions.
✔ Prefer structured, short-term strategies rather than open-ended therapy.

Ask us about whether Therapy Bytes might be suitable for you.

Animal-Assisted Therapy & Therapy Dogs

  • Animal-assisted therapy involves working with a therapy dog as part of the therapeutic process. Our therapy dogs provide comfort, support, and connection during sessions, helping clients feel at ease.

This approach is particularly beneficial for anxiety, emotional regulation, trauma support, and relational/attachment-based work.

  • While it may seem like you could potentially select a particular dog for an Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) session, the true essence of AAT lies in the unique bond between the dog and their owner/handler. This special connection creates a safe environment where the dog can freely explore and interact, ultimately leading to a more positive and secure experience for everyone involved. This doesn't mean you can't have a cuddle in the waiting room with one of the other dogs though! You can read more about the benefits of AAT and how it works HERE.

  • Service Dogs & Assistance Dogs – Yes, absolutely! If you have a trained service dog, you are welcome to bring them to sessions (although wherever possible we ask that you let us know ahead of time that you will be coming in with your dog so we can facilitate a pleasant and safe meeting between your dog and our therapy dogs.
Therapy & Emotional Support Dogs – If your dog provides emotional support but is not formally trained as a service dog, it is not usually possible to bring them to session with you, but we ask that you discuss this with us during intake or when booking your next appointment.

For more details, please refer to our Service & Therapy Dog Policy.
