The Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) is a widely used and comprehensive cognitive assessment designed to measure a child’s intellectual functioning and reasoning skills.

The WISC tests the general thinking, processing speeds and working memory of children between the ages of 6-16 years. Some of the key benefits of a thorough cognitive assessment include; identifying intellectual and specific, learning disabilities, the need for further clinical assessments or diagnoses, as well assessing potential giftedness.

Our clinic has a number of psychologists who can provide either a brief assessment for school funding purposes, or a more comprehensive report with intervention recommendations for lesson planning, diagnostic purposes or decision-making.

For more information about the benefits and costs involved in completing the WISC, please contact our friendly reception team today on 0451-044-015 or email reception12points@gmail.com
